Our society has become more complex with each genera- tion. The problems of our school children have become more complex and more numerous. As teachers, we realize that we have definite responsibilities to provide proper guidance and instruction. This will enable our youth to secure and maintain desirable attitudes, values, and skills which will enable them to lead a full and useful life. IRL DAY P rincipal DAN BRUFFETT Elementary Supervisor JESSE PAYNE Itinerant Instr. 7 BONNIE CUNNYNGHAM Grade 7 The education of our boys and girls can not be accom- plished by the teaching staff alone, no matter how well quali- fied they may be. In view of this fact, may we as parents, teachers, and administrators unite our efforts in giving to our children the kind of education which will prepare them for successful living. A glance at our physical plants convinces one that we are rapidly achieving one of our goals-- adequate physical facilities for our education program. A beautiful new modern building at Long Lane, a fine spacious building, with its large gymnasium and other modern facilities at Louisburg, the new grade addition and central auditorium-gymnasium at Buffalo, all testify to the foresight of the people in our ever enlarging school community. You still have things to do and goals to achieve in the area of buildings and facilities, but you are well on your way in that direction. May we be just as concerned in other important areas and see that our youth enjoy a moral and spiritual environment sufficient to develop the fine, the beautiful, yes even the best that man can achieve as he reaches upward toward the ultimate.
