Courtesy Armour Co. Co-operation Wins We are not dedicating this book to these calyes nor the pail nor the milk. We are merely using the illistration to show the thing that has made our school the kind that we as students are proud to have the opportunity to attend. A community cannot become the proud owners of a school like ours and achieve the things ours has achieved until its citizens have made the intelligent cecision that these calves made and pull toward a common interest and common cause. We, the Student Council of the Buffalo High School, as represen- tatives of the student bo'dy want to express the gratitude of that student body for the opportunities afforded us. So it is to that spirit of co-operation, of working together, of individual sacrifice toward a common cause on the part of every citizen of this community that we dedicate this the 1949-50 Bison. May that spirit ever' prevail in this community for the sake of those to follow after us. THE STUDENT COUNCIL

DILLARD A. MALLORY SUPERINTENDENT Our schools must truly meet the needs of all the children of all the people. The school must not only contribute to the mental and physical development of our youth but it must carry its responsibility toward the ethical, moral and spiritual growth and development. May I congratulate the members of this community for the fine co-operative education program you are providing. Your expanded curriculum, your recent building additions, your athletic field etc., and your whole-hearted community co-operation deserve much praise. That thing is not possible without the splendid co- operation you give others. Therefore I think the Student Council acted wisely in making the unusual dedication you read on the preceeding page. The stu- dents, community organizations, and all citizens deserve that commendation. It is my hope that that spirit of oneness in effort will continue until this school is offering its maximum in service in this community. It is my desire to offer my small bit toward that goal.
