3.01. ,, -v FA 5 'v ,.1 5 Foreword Monty Mischief entered Buena Vista High School in September, 1963. He stayed for one year and then he left. His was a short stay. Yet during his visit he became acquainted with out school, our students and our atmosphere. Monty was not content with daily classroom attendance. He snooped!He brushed away the cobwebs of the bored student in English and found a young person vitally interested in one or two subjects such as home economics or industrial arts, He pried into the life of another and found an active Knight par- ticipating in clubs, sports and still keeping his grades at top level. Monty wedged himself under the pop machine in the teacher's lounge and there, too, found people of different sizes, shapes and temperaments working to keep Buena Vista High School alive, alert and conscious of the daily need for the student to learn and the teacher to teach. Monty Mischief left our school in June, 1964, with the impressions you will share in the 1964 VISTA VISIONS. Each page, each picture will bring to you the memories of a school dedicated to the educational, social and physical development of its students. 1 2 1 ,
