SUPERINTENDEN T AND PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE LELDON CLIFTON DILLIE M. KELLEY Superintendent Principal The school year of 1948-1949 is likely to be one of the most memorable in the history of Buena Vista High School. The dedication and use of our new gymnasium, the combining of our two schools, the addition of a new bus route, and the first queen's race for the school in several years completely filled the agenda. In many ways this year has been outstanding in the onward march of our school. It has been a happy, joyous year for all. Even though things did not always work out as we planned them, we were inspired and encouraged by your kind co-operation and by the knowledge that you were with us. To those who are leaving us this year and going into the field of opportunity and competition--good luck!
