The School Sire Council is parr of a srorewide progrom dubbed, rhe School Improvemenr Plon, Mr Dremer comnnenred, Ir is on honor for our school ro be chosen ro parricipore in SIP SIP has mode many decisions and done many Things for Duena Park High School They ' ve ollocored $120,000 rhrough- our rhe school, and evoluored various programs on campus ro derermine who needed funds. They also decided how ro presenr different legislature to the student body For example, when rhe low prohibiring students from smoking on campus was possed, SIP interviewed smokers and nonsmokers ro ber- rer understond the opinions of both. Among the cabinet was Chairperson Dennis Giffen, Vice- Chairperson Gary Peebles, and Secrerary Corey Eubanks, Mr. Dremer usuolly presided over rhe meerings, accepring conrribu- rions from rhe group. Those were members of rhe 1986-87 movie producrion class The sru denrs filmed events of rhe school year. They filmed seniors rhor porricipored in sporting events, ploys, donee producrion ond much, much more The doss was main- ly composed of groduoring seniors who worKed hard all year on Senior Film 87 . This film captured memories rhot the stu- dents will cherish forever. The 86-87 Movie Producrion group was under the leadership of Mr John Hufferd Hufferd greatly assisted the class in severol woys He spent many hours of personal time to help make rhe film. Also, he showed a coring attitude for each srudent.
