Coyotes Reunited For Special 79 Homecoming 1979 Homecoming was the most successful in ten years. What made this year so special was that the Homecoming Court and their escorts from the past were there to crown this year ' s queen, Kathy Cruz. Her court consisted of seven of the most popular and attractive girls on BP ' s campus. Senior attendants were, Louise LaRoche and Linda Matheson, junior attendants, June Jennings and Debbie Figueroa, soph- omore attendant Nina Rodriquez, and freshmen attendant Sylvia Hernan- dez. During Homecoming Week several activities were held during lunch, and on Friday, October 12, Homecoming Day, awards were given out at the pep rally. The game was a smashing success when the Coyotes won by the score of 12-0 over Western ' s Pioneers. The theme of the Homecoming Dance was Reunited, which at this point BP most certainly was.
