Beginning with the play, PRISONER OF SECOND AVENUE, the Drama Department, put out a year of productions available for all to see. The music Department provided BP with many fine vocal and instrumental programs. Whether it was a concert put on by the chorus or a half-time show by the band, the viewers were pleased as the quality revealed hard work and practice. This showed up when the Coyote Band won second-place in the California Band Review in November. The annual art show, held by the Art Department, took place in February, in conjunction with the Educational Fair. Graphic Design, a new class taught by Mr. Robert Hugenburger, showed students the basic and professional aspects of photography, printing, and designing their own ideas. 28 Academics. Faculty

Customer Decisions was designed to prepare students for purchasing later in life. Besides traditional Spanish and French, German was taught in the Foreign Language Department.
