SIZARRV nliihli CIIITIAXGS WEEK The crowds pushed into the stands even though the evening was quite chilly. Rain sprinkled softly as old friends got re- acquainted. At the kick-off, students had high hopes for a victory. The score by half-time was an exciting assurance that the team would win. The show brought sentimental memories to those from the class of 1972 when their Queen Julie gave up her reign. Then Queen Carol Rozario and her court were presented. Even though the stars weren't shining in the sky, spectators could see a special glow in each of the girI's eyes. At Homecoming dance, students relaxed to the music that Ruby Wheeler provided. The dance was a pleasant end to a very hectic but never to be forgotten week. lt was truly a STARRY STARRY NIGHT.

the Wonoens of Wmten '73 Brightening up rooms. decorating Christmas trees, and having six periods of cultural experiences brought out the Coyote Christmas spirit. A basketball game between the faculty and students pre-empted the '72 cager season, Teachers and students alike were glad to see the two-week vacation, including the big night . . . New Year's Eve. The band and modern dance classes staged a very creative and talented Christmas assembly. On Friday, before the holidays, the choir paraded down BP halls singing favorite Christmas carols. The Christmas Formal, held at FJC. was sponsored by the Senior Class, A nine piece band, Shade , highlighted the Winter WonderIand with Santa Claus on hand as chaperon. Pat Tashima was crowned Queen and Mary Ann lkeda and Paris Stimson com- pleted the Yuletide court.
