Back-to-school night brought out parents' reactions to the open campus issue. The student body raised funds for a fallen BPpoIice officer. lVlusic. a part of Buena Park, was heard at the West Carol farewell performance. Thanks for daylight savings. The new quarter started as open campus finally became a reality. The threatening rains brought a season, one not easy to forget - AUTUMN. Q 1335

Clues suppom: victony week Homecoming presented a week full of invigorating activities. Clubs combined their talents to contribute to the weeks' outcome. Everyone came out to see which teachers were the swingers competing in the hula-hoop contest. The student-faculty waterpolo game brought out the fish in teacherastudent partici- pants. Football players had quite a surprise when the pep squad snatched them at 4:30 am. The mighty men all received a hearty breakfast after they were shanghaled from their warm beds. A contest for funky feet was given by the Concerned Minority Club. Ten dollars was awarded by them for the couple who danced the best. To end the week's activities. pep squad sponsored a pre-dawn dance. A group called Juicy Jonpink created the vibes for the early morning risers. To encourage involvement and to build up school spirit were the main purposes for these activities. Five days of Homecoming antics - AWEEK TO REIVIEIVIBER. QI' IK!! KIT... ga - QL- '55
