At no time in history has the challenge been greater or more urgent. This might well be called a year of decision. We must decide whether we are to remain leaders or whether we will be content to take a secondary place in world affairs. If we sincerely believe in our great American heritage, we are obligated to become a more intelli- gent, responsible citizenry. You as graduates should meet this obligation in the true American tradition. Sincerely, JUNIOR HIGH PRINCIPAL Initiated two years ago, separation between the Senior High School and junior High School became more pronounced this year. The main rea son for this new system is that it alleviates many of the pressures placed on Junior High students making the transition from the individual classroom treat group treatment of the high school system mainly on the third floor.
