'D e 6 dd af 7752 V, Senior CLASS Officers JAMES WURM, President KAREN PHILLIPS, Secretary SUSIE JONES, Vice-President BILL FAWLEY, Treasurer RICHARD FRANTZ, Advisor SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Glancing backward Through the years, we well recall how awed and confused we were, when, as seventh graders, we first entered Bucyrus High. Our teachers and upper classmates were most friendly and cooperative, however, and it was no time at all until we considered ourselves, and were considered, an essential part of the entire school. As we entered the eighth grade, there were many new opportunities for recognition and friend- ship awaiting us . . . and didn't the girls really think they were somebody when they took the boys to the biggest social event of our year - the Blue Triangle Friendship Dance. As Freshmen, we took our first step toward planning our futures by choosing one of the four courses available to us. The outstanding event of this year was our attendance at the F. H. A. Christmas dance. At the beginning of our Sophomore year we elected the following class officers: Bob Tucker, president, Ann Albright, vice-president, Norman Haldeman, secretary and Sally Stamer, treasurer. Mr. Frantz was our capable adviser. From the profits obtained through sponsoring a movie, during the year, we were able to enjoy a very successful Sophomore Prom. Upon reaching our Junior year, Don Widman became class president, with Jody Craner as vice-president, Nancy Eickel as secretary and Bob Darling as treasurer, assisted by Louie Light. A never-to-be-forgotten event of that year was our Junior-Senior Reception. This, our Senior year has been a very busy and interesting one, with our classwork, scholar- ship tests, sports events, club activities and social functions all, seemingly, competing for our time. Ably guiding us throughout the year, have been our president, Jim Wurm, vice-president, Susie Jones, secretary, Karen Phillips, treasurer, Bill Fawley, and our faithful adviser, Mr. Frantz. As we go eagerly forward to meet life's responsibilities - college, iobs, marriage - we shall always hold in our hearts the wonderful memories of school days at Bucyrus High. I6 G
