BUCK von On September 3rd, approxi- mately seventy students entered Bucksport High School, as Juniors. Officers elected for the year were: President Arnold Burgess, Vice President Marjorie Mann, Secretary Cynthia Leach, Treasurer Mildred Ridell. Mildred Ridell and Cynthia Leach represented us in Student Council 'sci in which Connie Baker served as Sec, - Treas, The Health CouncilRepresenta- tives were Loretta Smith and Everest Doucette, with Connie Baker and Rod man Redman as student advisors. To everyone's delightclass rings were received in October. IGH Cll00L 'WV' ' At the first meeting of the Class of 1948, 4 'S we elected the following class officers: Pres- ident Clayton Burgess, Vice-President Patri- cia Millett, Secretary Jane Harvey, Treasurer Patricia Smith. Our representatives to the Health Council were Mary Lee Herrick and Lawrence Clem- ents. Patricia Smith and FredrickSprague were our Student Council representatives. Two sophomores served as officers in the av Junior Booster Club. They were Patricia Smith, secretary, and Patricia Millett, treas- urer. Our sophomore Junior Varsity cheerlead- ers were Ruth McAllian, Sandra Salisbury, Patricia Smith and Evora Bunker. Patricia Millett and Jane Harvey repre- sented us on the Hillcrest staff. Cindra Merritt, Beverly Mercer, Jacque- line Willett, and Sandra Salisbury partici- pated in Freshman-Sophomore Prize Speak- ing. David Goodwill and Donna Nelson were chosen as representatives to the Assembly Committee. All the sophomores join in extending our thanks to everyone who made this a good school year.
