CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION WUS, lleligion-in-Life, Burma-Bucknell, Freshman Camp and lfiresidesw-these are some of the outstanding projects undertaken hy the Bucknell University Christian Association. Motivated hy student enthusiasm, the activities of the CA can he hroken down into two areas: orientatinf the F freshmen to their new way of life, and reminding the upper- classmen of their spiritual heritage. The actual Work of the organization begins in Septemlier with the opening of Freshman Camp: as the year progresses, interest continues to mount. Students may write for the Clmllenge, partici- pate in the Nine-Thirty Class, do volunteer work at Selins- grove State School, or keep abreast of the latest news from Kappa Chi Lambda, the Religion Honorary. Annually, the CA sponsors two weekends: Religion-im Life and Burma-Bucknell. This year, speakers not only came to Bucknell and perusecl the theme, Wllhe Idea of a Universityf, during Religion-in-Life Week, hut there was a follow-up of a series of round tables and conferences with professors and other distinguished leaders. The 13th an- nual Burma-Bucknell Weekend provided a lively exchange of idea, culture and friendship between Bucknell and Bur- mese students residing in the United States. As always, the weekend promoted fellowship and understanding of people from a different culture.
