Students plan and present their own pro- grams after completing a period of apprenticeship. WVBU operated with professional elhciency and pre- cision. A member of the Intercollegiate Broadcasting Asso- ciation, it has a vast collection of long-playing and 4,5-speed records of every type. The Bucknell Engineer is filled with technical articles with current information on industrial developments which are helpful to alumni and students in the field. Also, pictures of Miss Bucknell Engineer give the magazine a decorative effect. The publication offers many opportunities for interested students to gain experiences and develop abilities in the editorial and business field. CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION WUS, lleligion-in-Life, Burma-Bucknell, Freshman Camp and lfiresidesw-these are some of the outstanding projects undertaken hy the Bucknell University Christian Association. Motivated hy student enthusiasm, the activities of the CA can he hroken down into two areas: orientatinf the F freshmen to their new way of life, and reminding the upper- classmen of their spiritual heritage. The actual Work of the organization begins in Septemlier with the opening of Freshman Camp: as the year progresses, interest continues to mount. Students may write for the Clmllenge, partici- pate in the Nine-Thirty Class, do volunteer work at Selins- grove State School, or keep abreast of the latest news from Kappa Chi Lambda, the Religion Honorary. Annually, the CA sponsors two weekends: Religion-im Life and Burma-Bucknell. This year, speakers not only came to Bucknell and perusecl the theme, Wllhe Idea of a Universityf, during Religion-in-Life Week, hut there was a follow-up of a series of round tables and conferences with professors and other distinguished leaders. The 13th an- nual Burma-Bucknell Weekend provided a lively exchange of idea, culture and friendship between Bucknell and Bur- mese students residing in the United States. As always, the weekend promoted fellowship and understanding of people from a different culture.
