Reading. Sharp Dormitory counselors, se- lected from the outstanding men of the upper classes, arc placed on each floor of the men ' s dormitories. They re- turn to the University in time to greet the freshmen, and to assist them in solving the problem of adjustment to col- lege life. Throughout the year they continue to advise and aid the freshmen both academically and socially. At intervals, scholastic reports are received stating the prog- ress of each freshman so the adviser is aware of what help is needed by each man. On his floor, he maintains study hours and attempts to pro- vide conditions conducive to high scholarship. All coun- seling and guidance, however, is presented in an informal and friendly manner in order to secure the best possible ad- justment of the individual.
