The Seniors' tif That s too much money for such a little thxng says Larry Vtest as the Senxors line up to get thezr rmgs Another group of students have flitted through the doors of Bucklm I-hgh and are about ready to flit out again They are leaving many traces of themselves scattered throughout the rooms and halls of this school Lookmg backward to when they entered they see a group composed of thirty one young look ing Freshmen They soon made Mrs Carter the ir gu1d1ng l1ght and held steadfast for three years Their first gulf to cross was the chasm between parents and teachers There was a bridge erected 1n the form of a Freshman luncheon The next year was just an ordmary one with only a roller skating party with the Freshmen and a class party belng the outstandxng events carnival and the Jun1ors preparation the carnival and the cleaning up In the spring was the banquet and once again the Junlors were in a sea w1th no way to go but SWIIH on through Thls they did by do1ng tasks nobly and show mg that at least part of the 1r shell left behind would be lustrous Then came the realization of their Freshman dreams the status of a Senlor was reached Their number had dwindled to twenty three The young looks had been erased for ones a little older and sometimes a little wxser here and there The Senior year brought a series of events in the form of rings pictures announcements and caps and gowns Due to the great responsl bility and to personal health Mrs Carter declined sponsorship for the Senior year Her choice as well as that of the class for a new leader was Mr Anderson The years have flown swiftly by and it is graduation time Baccalaureate is May tenth and Commencement May fourteenth Now each will leave this phase of his shell not to be vaulted up forever but to be bared to the sun on some future day Let each new temple nobler than the last 15 a theme for each to follow in h1s worldly path Their spiral kept grow ing and expanding as the Junior year was attained.
