JUNIOR ACTIVITIES The jumors started their so ral actlvxtles wxth a wxener roast held on September 30, on the p1cn1c grounds below junctmn C1ty On account of the busses not runnmg, a small crowd assembled An enjoyable tune was spent although some of the Romeos and Juhets weren't present On October 15, the annual junlor Clean Up Day was held Employers were scarce and employees Weren't overly amb1t1ous, but after a day of to11 or otherwrse, twenty some dollars were added to the treasury Two grrls Ann Hogan and Sylna Schumacher, were the two most successful workers Tney earned the most money by the lowly task of shrnmg shoes What am I b1d for this beaut1ful box? Thrs was a much repeated quest1on heard on the ulght of October 43 Everyone ate candy or pre untll h1s stomach ached from over lndulgence A donkey basketball game was held on November 5, between th Chamber of Commerce and Jumor Class boys The lucky Chamber of Commercers wer the vrctors Everyone was well pleased and no one spared the laughs were to be found ln the Hlgh School Gy mnasrum on February 13, as an all school clrcus pa ty was given by the junlors for the entertarnment of the other class s Everybody s Crazy Now' , was the three act play presented by the class on March 28 By the trme that everyone had observed the play, many were ready to adm1t that they, too, were ready to be mcluded ln the 11st of crazy people To close the year of act1v1t1es, a banquet was gxven 1n honor of the Semors The theme of the banquet was Indxan 11fe The feast was held 1n the Indlan vrllage fM6thOd1St Lhu ch basementj Whrch was decorated ln Indxan Fashron Maldens and braves 1n thelr natlve costumes were wa1tresses and Walters for the occasron The dance was held In the Hrgh School Gymnaslum The scene was a canoe on a moonl1t nver and the mus1c was Indlan type . , . . , V . 1 a . ,-5 . 1 1 1 H . e .
