We feel proud to present you with this, the thirtieth edition of the Whitefeather. We wish to thank the merchants of the surrounding area who have placed advertisements in our yearbook. Without their co-operation our yearbook would have been incomplete. We have many fond memories of the teachers whom we have met and worked with through the years. We feel that they have helped us through our difficulties more than they have realized. We wish to thank you who have purchased this yearbook. May it be a lasting remembrance of the school year 1958 and 1959. I, MARILYN DEBELL, will my shortness to LOIS PHIPPS. I, NED DOERING, will my talkativeness to CHARLES RAMGA. I, GALE FRY, will my quietness to GALE JOHN. I, GENE GRINER, will my way with the girls to TONY FUERST. I, GARRY HOLTZAPPLE, will my way to get a steady girl friend to TOM SPRAGUE. I, JANE KENTNER, will my blond hair to BARBARA MYERS. I, DONNA J. KEYSOR, will my naturally brown hair and brown eyes to LINDA PLACE. I, PAT McBETH, will my ability to keep one boy for a long time to RUTH KENTNER. I, DON ZIEGENBUSCH, will my tallness to JIM DEBELL. SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY Boarding Vanguard 20 for Mars. after fifteen years of graduation, I thought the pilot looked familar to meg of course, it was a former classmate, GARRY HOLTZAPPLE. After talking with him a few minutes I found that his wife, DONNA JEAN KEYSOR, and their three children were fine. Advancing farther to my seat another familar face appeared before me. GALE FRY was traveling to Martian City for a performance at the Scorpion Club as solo pianist. Landing in Martian City later in the evening, I couldn't resist going to hear Gale play. After his performance I began looking around, finding MARILYN DEBELL seated a few tables away. After exchanging glances, she came over to say that she was a private secretary to a rocket dealer. She was on her vacation and had read in the news that Gale was appearing in Martian City and she decided to hear him. Time passed quickly and my stay came to an end. I decided to go to Pluto where I attended church, finding LARRY WHETSTONE as the pastor. He told me after services that CHESTER BARRETT had a used space ship lot in Sirius and that PAT McBeth was his wife and secretary, and JERRY SIMS was his mechanic. After visiting Pluto, I traveled on to Venus where LINDA PRESAR was doing fine with her five children and handsome husband whom she had met at college. As we talked and recalled our former classmates, she told me that PAT ROSTORFER was a waitress at the resturant down the street, and that VERNON BOWERSOCK had joined the Space Cadets . Returning to earth, I went to Houston, Texas, to visit my brother- in-law, NED DOERING, who was doing fine on a big ranch with CHARLES McPHERON as his foreman. After chatting a few hours I was glad to know that DON ZIEGENBUSCH was the game warden for their county. My vacation ended, I returned to Cleveland, Ohio, to start a teach- ing career at a new school where GENE GRINER was the athletic director. Jane Kentner SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In September of 1947, eleven boys and five girls entered the first grade. Under the excellent guidance of Miss Margery Culver, we became accustomed to school. During the high school years, members of the class took an active part in the activities of the school, such as: baseball, basketball, chorus, cheerleading, band, and glee club. May 21, 1959, we received our diplomas, which marked the end of our twelve years of school. This is not the end, but the beginning of our adult life, We are all happy that we are being graduated, but now comes the time of responsibilities Some expect to go to college for a higher education, in order to become more experienced in the field of work that they want to dog others plan to go to work directly after graduation.
