EDITORIAL The Senior Class of 1958 has endeavored to bring to you a yearbook which would give you a better understanding of the activities and classes of the school. It is our utmost de- sire that our annual accomplishes its purpose. We wish to express our thanks to the merchants in the surrounding communities who have advertised in this publi- cation. We realize that, without their help, this edition would have been impossible. Our thanks also goes to the teachers who have assisted in any way toward making this annual a success. Our efforts, we hope, have not been in vain. May you derive as much enjoyment from reading the following pages as we have in compiling this edition of the Whitefeather. Nancy Stoner OUR SCHOOL OUR SONG We're loyal to you, Buckland High The red and the white is our cry, We'1l back you to stand With the best in the land For we know you are true Buckland High. Rah! Rah! Fight on is our cry to you team, Victory for us, it is nigh Our team is our fame protector They'1l bring us out a victor We're for you Buckland High. Fling our that dear old flag of Red and White Bring out your sons and daughters Fighting for right Like men of old on giants Placing reliance, shouting defiance Os-key-wow-wow, Amid the broad green plains that Nourish our land, For honest labor and for wisdom we stand And unto thee we pledge our heart and hand We're loyal to you, Buckland High.
