It is our utmost de- sire that our annual accomplishes its purpose. We wish to express our thanks to the merchants in the surrounding communities who have advertised in this publi- cation. We realize that, without their help, this edition would have been impossible. Our thanks also goes to the teachers who have assisted in any way toward making this annual a success. Our efforts, we hope, have not been in vain. May you derive as much enjoyment from reading the following pages as we have in compiling this edition of the Whitefeather. During the first eight years the following students joined our class: Bobby Parlett, Joann Kentner, Linda Ramsey, Linda Dearing, Howard Daniels, Darrel Miller, Jim Wycuff, Roger Sunderland, Charles Peterson, and Ricky Lane. Those withdrawing from our class during the first eight years were: Elmer Wagner, Wanetta Fetter, John Siler, Charles McPheron, Roger Sunderland, Phyllis Squires, Melanie Werner, Howard Daniels, Ricky Lane, Roger Hines, and Darlene Carmean. After eight years of hard study we were prepared to enter high school. In 1955, eighteen boys and girls entered high school as freshmen Greenies. Rosemary Slone, Kelly Epperly, Jack Griner, Gary Cottrell and Joe Fuerst joined our class. During the year Rosemary Slone and Jack Brincefield withdrew. We chose class officers for the year as follows: President. Joe Fuerstg Vice-President, Jim Wycuffg Treasurer, Jack Grinerg Secretary, Nancy Stoner. In October of our sophomore year we sponsored a ham supper, which was very profitable. Our officers were: President, Kelly Epperly, Vice-President, Linda Dearingg Secretary, Kay Doeringg Treasurer, Jimmy Sawmiller. We were sorry to lose Jim Wycuff, Roger Sunderland, Joe Furest and Gary Cottrell. Our third year of high school was an extremely busy one. In November we presented a class play The Real Mc Coy. We sold programs and were in charge of the coat room at the basketball games. On May 10, we gave a prom in honor of the senior class. The class officers were: President, Jack Grinerg Vice-President, Nancy Stonerg Secretary, Linda Ramsey: Treasurer, Kay Doering. We were sony that Linda Dearing and Charles Peterson didn't return to school, but we were glad to welcome Roger Hines and Lowell Burwell at the middle of the year. As we entered our Senior year there were fourteen of us in all. However, Jim Moore and David Fox soon left us, leaving twelve in our class. Our officers were: President, Joann Kentnerg Vice- President, Linda Ramsey, Secretary, Kay Doeringg Treasurer, Nancy Stoner. We sold ice cream and pop in school and at the basketball games. We also had a carnival February '28, and a chicken barbe- cue to raise funds for our senior trip. On April 11, we presented our class play. We greatly appreciated the prom given in our honor by the juniors on May 9th, We received our diplomas on May 22nd and left on our senior trlp the following week. Thus, we concluded together our high school career. Kay Doering CLASS PROPHECY I am growing old and feeble And my head is bending low Of the Senior Class of '58 I'll tell you all I know.
