In November Fredis Collins enrolled from Spencerville. We formed a club with the seventh grade. Karen Place was our secretary.

HOW 3: Kathleen Briggs, Sandra Presar, Wilma Shively, Connie Elsass, Barbara Kentner, Karen D1 lsaver, Waneta Kill. In September, fourteen girls and seven boys entered the fifth grade. S h Ira the sixth week of school, Ancel Smith came to us from Spencerville c oo . Sabine Sunderland, who had been in school in Colorado Springs, joined us for three weeks in October, while she and her family were visiting in Buck- land enroute to Germany. A number of girls and boys celebrated their birthday's at school. A surprise party was given for Mrs. Rodgers on her birthday. We took part in the operetta, The Magic Christmas Bell . Special holidays were observed with appropriate activities throughout the year.

Maxine Kramer, Ray Kill, Tommy Tangeman, Iudy Sunderland. The seventh grade was combined with the sixth grade this year. We had five girls and nine boys at the beginning of the school term. Iuanita Collins entered from Spencerville in November. We had a Halloween Party, took part in the Christmas Operetta, and had a Valentine Party.
