There ' ll be smiles on all the faces, And a tear in every eye As we all march down the isles, Of our dear ole ' Central High! Now the halls once filled with laughte., We must leave behind us all. For the voice of fortune calls us, And we must answer to her call! How we hate to leave the classrooms, All our friends and teachers dear; But memories of our days at Central Shall linger on from year to year ! We must leave behind our classmates Whom we ' ve loved throughout the years, Yes, in our hearts we ' ll all be happy. But in our eyes, there ' ll be tears!
