CLASS POEM In the happy days we’ve spent At Dear Old Central High We’ve all worked and strived for the goal That soon will be nigh. We’ve filled the years with laughter And tried not to think, in our fun Of the day we’d all say good-bye Tho knowing it had to come, When we’ve reached the hour of parting Our hearts will beat with pain; Because we know there will be some We may never meet again. But we’ll hold our heads up high And walk proudly down the aisle, Say good-bye to Old Central High And through our tears there’ll be a smile. Louise Watson CLASS SONG Wake the town and tell the people. We have finally reached our goal. We will soon be leaving Central, We are sorry to be told. As we dream into the future. As we face the world alone, We’ll remember all our school days In our educational home. Now we are leaving you, Just a part of us behind. But in our mem-o-ry. Thoughts of school you’ll always find.
