Miss Hall believes that statement that one who makes the most noise has little else to offer. No noisy display advertises the many fine activities taking place in her English and history classes. Her pupils delight in her quiet ways, and Flora Macdonald too knew what it was doing when it gave her a B. A. dezree. Quiet and unassuming, Mr. Sadler teaches his general science and math classes with a firm yet pleasant manner. He has a keen sense of humor, a genuine concern for the welfare of the boys and Biris, and an alert interest in the affairs of the world. We wonder if that B. A. from the University of Va. gave him that enthusiasm for photography! storms may rurrle the quiet waters of school life, but Mrs, Rainey sails calmly on. At lon, besides winning her degree, she became aS good a fisherman as Mr. tainey- she caught the fish she wanted. Eer pupils in history prepare that lesson, for they know that at the end she will deal out marks with a positive hand. As the pupils see the twinkle in his eye, they listen atten- tively for the subtle fun Mr. Spencer is sure to poke at their faulty answers to his questions in biology and math. ‘when Hampden- Sidney awarded him his B. S., it also graduated one of its best athletes. Coaching is his real love and he does honor to it in his stern demand that all who participate play the game hard and fairly. Friday afternoon. The last bell rings and the secretary rushes to the library waving an announcement from the office, but Mrs. Nuckols is already getting into her car, hastening to her Richmond apartment and to her Woodrow , A glance around tells you that all . is in order and that wWiiliam and Mary did a fine job when it sent UMieseonesa™ Torth with a B.-A. to rule over a “library. . Eldon C. Grover is Pennsylvania's veritable son gbird, the envy of the boys and the delight of the girls. His pupils in English, history, and music positively will not pronounce their Syllables, and Ohio State University will not tolerate slurred Syllables. His knowledge of music proves that he has a B. A. Mus.
