We, the '53 Yearbook Staffwish to dedicate this book to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Martin teachers of B-U and friends of the students. They are the only married couple that are' teaching together in this school. Mr. Martin first started teaching here in 1941 and taught one and a half years before leaving for the Army. He came back in 1945. Mrs. Martin started teaching at B-U in 1946. W Mrs. Martin is the girls' physical education and health teacher. Mr. Martin teaches chemistry, physics, and general math. Besides their duties as teachers, they are both very active in student organizations. Mrs. Martin is Pep Club sponsor, G. A.A. sponsor, and Yearbook advisor. Mr. Martin is advisor for the Yearbook and Projectionists. Much credit is due to these two teachers for their work with the students. And so with gratitude we dedicate this book to Helene and Carl Martin.
