Mark Haymond is editor. 23. Coley has become a regular boarder at Wilson's Beanery. We wonder why. 25. Lola Baxa again gets all A pluses. Makes us dumb ones feel bad. 28. Miss Flanagan makes plans for her May day. No queen this year. We're stepping out with a king. 30. Krausmen lick Victory for the second time this year, 30-17. 31. Big job of enrollment. What class are you taking? .Wh'm's going to teach bookkeeping? 5. Secretls out. Smith Ward is it. 6. Classes start for sure. Books must be b'ught. Has anyone a second-hand book? 13. Sophomores look lost in first assembly. Seniors try to ajpear dignified on front rows. 15. Mr. Brooks makes a raid on the cars which adorn the front street. Watch the cigarettes, boys! 18. Beautiful weather. By the looks of the loi ing couples in the halls, on the walks. and packed in the cars, one knows that Dan Cupid thinks this is spring. A bad mistake! 28. Library contracts leased today. Hard work begins in earnest. 30. One month of happiness and sorrow gone. OCTOBER 3. Holiday. High water. Here's to bigger and better floods. 7. When you see Milly Reppert, it's time for the gong. 9. Dr. Goodwin and his family arrive. How old are they? Are there any boys? VVhat do they look likefv These are the questions going around among the students, especially the girls. IO. Rough House is organized by some enterprising students of the high school. Large membership is enrolled. Wonderful constitution is written. 12. Mr. Brooks appears in sewing class when some one is trying on . Mr. Brooks says he approves of the dresses,'. 17. New girl arrives in school. Several boys are hurt in the rush. 24. Seniors give Columbus Day program in assembly. The feats of Columbus and Lindberg are compared. 27. Margie', Dean and Tilly Leonard welcome The Goodwinsl' to the town. NOVEMBER 3. Mr. Brooks chases Margaret Dean out of the hall. 5. No wonder Monk Tenney was late-he walked to school. lt is a doctor's pre- scription. 7. Hallowe'en-by Sophs. II. Many students disappointed-failed to find their images in the Colonial Art Exhibit. 15. Most popular club in high school disbanded by his honor, Mr. Brooks. Page eighty-one

Mr. Moats becomes Little Tin Gad by fixing the tire on Mrs. Thornhill's Q ir on their Way to Round Table Meeting. . Snookie Ward wore a weddin rin to school. Always remember it takes I 8 8 . v two to make a bar am. 8 I4-IS. William Harper, Dave Goodwin and Willard Baxa went to Huntington. They were supposed to have attended the annual high school press congress, but who knows if that was their calling or not. 20. Mr. Brooks poses for a picture. We got him that time. 25. The seniors had a popularity contest in class meeting. 26. Carl Lamb lost the wheel off his roller skate. Finder, please return. 27. Commercial Club gave a magnificent program in chapel. MARCH 1. Spring has come. The boys are fighting over each others marbles. 3. Seen on a snowy lawn was a game of fox and geese in session. Tilly, Milly, Marian, Virginia White and Margaret were the geese, Mr. Brooks was the fox. S. Goin' to l'ilkins?,' Everybody looking forward to Elkins tournament. The password in the hall is 7. Oh boy, we're going to the tourney at Elkins, sorta bad, but what do we care. 7, 8, 9. Here it is Sunday evening already, but anyway, we were runners-up in the lilkins tournament. IO.
