:STRIDING FOR VICTORY: The 1985 thinclads participat- ed in 8 dual meets, 4 invitation- , .32 H: als, and the District Indoor meet. 8: '24 The team's only victory was 3 9:5 . against Jonathan Alder with a I Y dramatic win in the I 600 meter relay. Steve Roush and Jay Wal- lace placed in the league while Dan Shearer placed in the Dis- trict Finals. For the first time in 5 years, an Ass't. Coach, Mr. Bill Fishinger, was added to the staff to help with the sprinters and the weight program. The team set an all'time record having 22 team members score. Having only 4 seniors, the team was very young. but they gained valuable experience. 70 Boys Track

The 1985 girls track team had a season of ups and down but ended positively. The team's talent was high, but the scores weren't. The Lady Barons only came through with a victory, but they gained valuable experience for the yea ahead of them. 72 Girls Track
