GRIDDERS FINISH STRONG Though the record doesn't show it, many personal goals were attained. and Delaware County got a good look at the talent of the B V football team. Four Barons were selected as first team AII-County players. while eight gridders grabbed second team honors. David Mitchell led the County in in- terceptions and Chris Orecc chio captured the golden hon- ors of being AII-County most valuable player. This year's season was dis- appointing compared to our early record 8-0. We went on to lose five games in a row before our win against lon- don. This year, we stayed a lot healthier than last year, and that helped throughout the season. Some of the summer practices were rough. but in the end, it was worth it.
