Hampered by everything from sick- ness and Injuries to a lack of meets, this year's gymnastics team got off to a difficult start. The overall re- cord misrepresented our gymnasts' potential. A large team allowed more girls to gain valuable exper- Ience and to get used to the pres- sure of performing. The clinic for the elementary kids and the tumb- lethon, with Its 100 passes, made us weary and made our heads spin; but proved to be very profitable. We once again tested out endurance at the annual slumber party before the state meet. Along with all the hard work we put In at practices and meets, we have many fun times to remember. Under the direction of Coach Ann Davis the Lady Baron Varsity basketball team finished its 1981-82 campaign with a 9-14 record. After losing their first five con- tests, the Barons finished strongly with a tunner-up spot in sectional competition.
