This year the Baron band was filled with many hours of practice and the hard work of learning the shows and memorizing the music to get ready for the big game on Friday night. There are good memories of riding the game bus to away games, and the spirit of the band, being led by the awesome seniors . Then there were the after school band practices . . . The band's senior show was dedicated to the seniors and also to Mr. Lukas, who will be retiring at the end of the school year after more than 30 years of dedicated teaching In the various schools In the district. The band also had the opportunity to send sev- eral ensembles, soloists, and a sextet to the Ohio Music Educa- tion Solo and Ensemble Contest. The different groups scored very highly.
