Being editor of The Shield this year has been a very memora- bIe experience. I am depressed at times when I reflect on the happenings that produced The Shield. Taking an award-wln- ning paper and completely changing Its format produced problems that we hadn't con- sidered. But I admit that with- out the help and understanding 0! the staff, The Shield would never have been accom- plished.
