Our re- cord wasn't bad considering the Injuries and the readjust- ments of new players every game. Our team felt bad about the injuries but had players to replace them. The most exciting and well played match was at the Card- ington Invitational. Losing only to Marion Catholic in a very close game. We received 5th place and brought back a very nice trophy. The season came to end after sectionals where we were de- feated by Grandvllle. Sometimes I still wonder if we got all of the candle money turned ln. Tennis, being more of an individual sport than basketball or volleyball, takes a great deal of practice and con- centration. One of my biggest goals was to try and relax!!! and improve my game. IAlso to get Mr. Daffner to learn Sue's, MI- chelle's and my name so when he yelled Daragona , the three of us wouldn't all jumpll Being exposed to the fun game of tennis has made me want to continue playing for as long as I can hold a racquet. - Jean M.
