STUDENT COUNCIL SHO WS INTEREST IN OTHERS!! Many students think that the Student Council has no purpose and helps the school In no way. But one person thought the Student Council at Buckeye Valley High School showed great Concern for the student body, and that was the ILS. Representative Samuel L. Devine. We received a let- ter of recognition from him for the placing of the cau- tion signs at the Troy Rd. railroad crossing. The Stu- dent Councll's major pro- ject this year was making and putting up these cau- tlon signs. The Student Council was also In charge of the Homecoming elec- tion and the purchasing of the flowers and the crown for the Queen and her court. We had the Sunshine Ex- press come and entertain the student body. As a member of the Student Council, I felt this year was not a total loss. We have al- ready started preparlng for next year by setting up pro- jects that will get the stu- dent body more involved In school spirit. - Sue Martin Top: The Sunshine Express.
