' V , .1P ' ' JI!! 5 'L jilffig ,iaith . -'ll 'I My job as editor-In-chief of the 1979-80 Shield has been one challenge after an- other. Eternal deadlines, too many stories, not enough stories, lack of mon- ey, lack of interest, and misplaced articles are just a few of the many problems to overcome. Some of these challenges I have been able to meet, some unfortunate- ly, I have not. Through the entire year, however, I have been amazed at the enthusi- asm of the Shield staff and at the patience of our advis- er, Mrs. Sarah Graham. De- spite the headaches of the year, I feel that we have put out the best paper this school has ever seen. I am proud to have been a part.
