-1 .fr J fl' That moment you'd anticipated for so long was finally there. Walking down the hall that first day was an experience, especially if you were lost. You noticed the upperclass- men looking you over and won- dered what they thought of you, and wondered what to think of them. Everyone felt different somehow. You no longer owned the school, as in junior high, but instead you were the lowest life form around. Ironic, here you were together with all these kids who'd been your rivals in past years, and now they were your classmates. They were friendlier than you'd ex- pected. lt was a little rough at first.
