While we were In school the world was busily changing around us. John Wayne passed away, but left us some great films with which to remember him. An lranlan crisis had the world ln an uproar by the kidnapping of some Americans and reducing the US oil. Undefeated Ohio State beat Michigan and Art Schllcter led the Bucks against USC in the Rose Bowl. People's heated tempers over the gasoline crisis did little to warm their homes for the winter ahead as fuel prices soared. The world was bus- ily Coming On Strong . LL. lil ,1 7' , The School year started with a big difference, nine new teachers and a new principal. Still some things remained the same. For Instance, every activity was trying to sell something from donuts to christmas cards or ornaments to llttle stuffed animals and giant cookies. Even the stan- dard all-purpose cleaner that teams have tried to sell on four occasions under three dlf- ferent labels was being sold, and has yet to be successful. The seniors studied diligently for the ACT's and as usual the juniors discovered the PSA T's. The sophomores won- dered what an OVIS was while the freshmen manipulated the GA TB. Comln ' On 5trongf5
