There is 11 sureness in the line although the two little girls sit nervously together . . . almost ns if' they were afraid the space outside were not made to move in. There is 21 need for distortion: it is ns if the distor- tion were arising from 11 wordless inner experience. Speaking ofexperience the two secretaries Mrs, Hurd- esty and Mrs. Turner are two busy people in the school. Everyday the office is running over with activ- ity and it is up to these two people to see that ull runs smooth. No wonder they sit nervously together! ARLYENIE TURNER

We see the issues of life quite simply, even though in themselves they are not simple. No doubt, at one time, the portrayal of Low life, such as this Murillo, gave pleasure to the nobility because it also gave a sense of superiority . . . a sense of the power of wealth. Mr. Glur and Mr. Smith appreci- ate this painting for they thru their experi- ence do not see life as simple. Illiteracy is a thing of the past and one of their objectives is to guide every student into the proper edu- cational program which in the end will give pleasure to the individual and to the world.
