% F.F.A. And Agri-business Progress F.F.A.'ers were busy again as they worked successfully for a full and productive year. Enter- ing varied judgings and speech contests kept the Buckeye chapter buzzing with activity and anticipation of reward for work well-accomplished. The club also sponsored a citrus fruit sale and profited favorably from it. Recipients and buyers of the palatable delights en- joyed the fruit tremendously. Apple cider was jugged and sold to anyone who fell for the sales pitch. The club chose its queen and her court and was crowned at the annual gala F.F.A. banquet. Agri-business, a work program for agriculturally oriented students, combined work with education. A sense of money control and the farm market was realized. All workers profited not only in capital, but also gained valuable ex- perience for the future. Mr. Koppes served as overseer for the ambitious bunch. Row One: M. Ulmer. F. Echle. Mr. Koppes. S. Experience Gained In Technology Dedication and enthusiasm put pizazz into the work of a group of Buckeye students. Under the guidance of Mr. Robert Leget, chemistry and earth science instructor, many activities were accomplished. Lending themselves to a year of service and discovery, the school benefitted from their diligence. The laboratory assistants are basically classroom aides. Chores such as grading various papers and assisting students during classroom lab sessions in the sciences are routine tasks to the ever-helpful individuals. An equally hard-working squad is that of the darkroom assistants. The care and operation of camera and flash, different photographic techniques, and various means of photograph and negative developing are a mere sampling of the infinite number of projects these students effected in the year’s duration. Darkroom Assistants: T. Wolff. J. Petrisin, J. Houston, J. Wolff, D. Hoert. Laboratory Assistants: Bob Ferry. Chemistry; K. Wolff, Earth Science; Mike Huttinger, Earth Science; P. Schaefer, Earth Science.
