THE REFLECTCJR-1957 l' ' -s -x -'-1 ww4.1- ff- 'LL-'hs r-Y L. on e..,i:cP., lj. A . ' ' ' x ' - all 1' BUCKEYE HIGH SCHOOL Medina, Ohio Foreword The name, THE REFLECTOR, was chosen because we thought it was symbolic of the purpose of our yearbook. Our purpose,is to reflect the lives of the people, our school, and the activities in which they participate. This yearbook is to serve as a memory book, and as a history of the school year 1956-1957. The theme, which is an outgrowth of the purpose, is to portray the personalities in their activities. We hope that this annual will characterize this school year and our school. We want to thank everyone who had any part in helping to make THE REFLECTOR a success: especially Mr. Aho who was always ready and willing with helpful advice. afwu-f,JQ'aM, Www? A constitution was constructed by the council and ratified by the student body. Two members per class are elected to the coun- cil by the class they represent. Officers of the student council are elected by the members. The purpose of the council is to collaborate with the administration on student problems and administrative rules. Also, the council helps to promote better relations between our high school and other neighboring schools. However, our greatest interest lies in representing the student body to the school administration, and thus strive for better cooperation and better relation- ship between students and teachers.
