L. X ffl. X. A Miss Beatrice Rentschter Mr. O. L. Schneyer, the principal of Buchtel l-ligh School, has always been a friend to everyone. We shall always appreciate the little things he has done for us, aside from his regular duties. Mr, Schneyer manages to keep the school running smoothly and sponsor about a half dozen organizations, and still have time to do all the million and one things connected with the new building. As you can see, Mr. Schneyer is bari- ly in need of assistants. Mr. Fred C. Weber and Miss Beatrice D Rentschler fill this bill. Their duties are many and varied, lust for an example - Miss Rentschler is the official keeper of the permanent record cards, while it is up- on Mr. Weber's shoulder that you cry your locker blues. 744416 Zan Mr. O. Maier and Miss Lucile Gustafson, are probably most familiar to us in their checking of absences. Miss Maier checks excuses, while Miss Gustafson rules with the famous yellow slips. Miss Gustafson teaches history and senior problems, and has organized and written many programs for assem- blies Next year Miss Gustafson will be touring different parts of the world under a Ford Fellowship. Miss Maier also teaches history, but is most often seen in the office, We are, thankful to the principals, counsellors, and advisors who have helped to make our high school days so profitable. Pictured loft to right are the senior advisors, Mr. Leon Friedman, Mr. Vincent Biondo, Mr. Otis Maxwell, and Miss Florence Wooddell. Each of these teachers is responsible for a :section of Cafeteria A, the senior homeroom. At some time during the school year each advisor is in charge of the cafeteria as a whole. At this time he or she is in charge ot all senior announcements, including those concerning the colleges.
