Decficai on We, the B. H. S. seniors of 1961, would like to dedicate this yearbook to our parents. To you we would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation. During our school years, you have been our guiding lights, the ones to whom we felt and knew we could go to with any problem that might confront us. Don't think that just because we are being graduated, and many of us will perhaps be going away from home, that this is the end of your helping us. No, we’ve found you so inspiration- al in the past that through the years, when ob- stacles become too tough for us, it will be you to whom we go. Thus proudly and hopefully looking toward the future, we dedicate this, our yearbook of 1961, to our BELOVED PARENTS.

To a passerby, yes, this is just another school building; but to students of Buchanan High School it means much, much more. The friends made here, the achievements mastered, the disappoint- ments suffered, and knowledge acquired here have made B.H.S. a very special building. It would be difficult to ever forget the crowded halls . . . The assemblies. . . the excitement of a close game. . . the pass slips. . . the cold bumpy bus rides . . . cramming for tests ... the discus- sions in class ... the mad scramble for the door . . . And so. here is your book, the 1961 YELLOW JACKET, which we give to you. May you always remember this memorable year in good old B.H.S.
