In the Buchanan High School the various experiences and activities that you have engaged in will, I am sure, be of great help to you in your becoming better citizens and leading happier lives. So you may meet the problems of life with more ability and confidence, our aim has been to offer you a varied and well rounded curriculum. In making this great country of yours even a greater and better one in which to live, each of you as American citizens must accept the responsibilities of doing your part in what- ever field of endeavor that may be required of you. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you, the Senior Class of 1956, for your scholastic achievements and also for the fact that you have had the courage, the ambition and ability to spend twelve years of your life in useful living. I am sure that each member of this class is looking f or- ward with keen anticipation toward the desirous goal of success.
