ABERNATHY. Buchanan DR. C. H. ALLEN, Waco Brcrm BUCHANAN. OA. December 17, 1954 DEAR STUDENTS: May I take this opportunity to congratulate you, the Senior Class of 1955, on your accomplishments. You have waited twelve long years for this happy event in your life and I am sure that your achievement warms the hearts of your friends and loved ones. You have been very successful thus far in your life and you have shown to the world that you have the ability and courage to stick with a task until it is finished. Your success in the past has been measured by grades and courses but your success in the future will be measured by your aspirations, your skill and integrity and above all your ability to serve your fellow man. your county and your nation, because humanity comes first and nothing is worth do- ing which does not help humanity. Remember anyone who gains his living by injuring others is a parasite but one who earns his place in the great brotherhood of humanity by doing his part is remembered in the pages of history.
