YOU mi TAKE IT WITH YOU We, The Class of 1953, being of sound mind and good disposition, have various articles we wish to commit to those we leave behind. We leave to thee: Principal: The responsibility of supervising B. H. S. without our inspiring and able assistance. Faculty: All our acquired knowledge, we'll never use it anyway. Juniors: Our many so-called privileges. Sophomores: Our constant eagerness to participate in activities which require our absence from class. Freshmen: Anything we have left. And to the future Seniors we leave: Bobby Dowdy wills his speed to Ralph Carter and his basketball career to Billy Joe Skidmore. They'll probably use them. Charlotte McBrayer wills to Myra McAfee her ability to aggravate Miss Head in the shorthand class. Earlene Brown wills her ability to yodel and her very good personality to none other than ''Vila Pope . Mary Ann Wood leaves her height and her ability to tell jokes to Ed Tanner. Charlcie Thompson wills her loud personality and her talent for shorthand to Guennelle Mc- Whorter. Bobby Posey wills to Jimmy Singleton anything he can't use and to Cohen Cash he wills his lovemaking technique although he doesn't need it. Phil Bowman leaves his charming personality and his love for Sophomores to Larry McKibben. Rose Ellen Deese leaves to Bobby Hudgins her ability to copy in Mr. Caples's government class. Hope you don't get caught at it Bobby. Velda Posey leaves to Amilene McWhorter her special desk in the bock of the room, hoping she gets by as easy as she did. Jo Ann Daniel leaves her carter's little liver pills to Lynn Dennis to keep him free from worms. Jack Head wills to Charles Beam a few pounds to protect his big muscles. Nelda Posey wills to Shirley Brown her height and little brother, hoping you are successful. Doris Tolbert wills to Sara Morris her blonde hair and bobby-socks. Richard Carter wills to Jack Eaves his football uniform including his jockey as he was always trying to steal it. Billie Joe Kimball leaves her smooching ability and her secret parking place to Pank Adams. She also leaves her love of Soldiers to Frances Griffin because she is afraid of them. Martha Goldin wills her dancing ability to Jeannine Armstrong hoping she has much success. Jerry Weaver wills her golden curls and pretty dimples to Wallace Shaw. She also wills to Shirley Carroll a box of tissue to wipe off the kiss prints. Oscar Addison wills to Donald Spearman the school bus, be sure you watch the speedometer. Walter Price wills his height and weight to Marvin Hammond hoping they will benefit him next year. Kenneth Griffith wills Roland Brown his muscles. He ought to be pretty good with both of them, he also wills to Coyal Agan some underwear. Betty Ann Cook leaves a sack of kisses (it broke her up) to Red Chandler so he won't have to take it out on the Green F.F.A. boys. She also leaves her big eyebrows and her ability to flirt to Lowell Harris, although with his good looks he won't need it. Chalmus Kiser wills his good looks to Jimmy Davenport because he needs them. Joyce Mullins wills to Bobbie Sue Hagan her secretarial ability. Vivian Mozley leaves to Thelma Gable her long black hair and hope she has much success. She also leaves to Bonnie Holcombe her necking ability. Bertha Cheatwood leaves to Ella Mae Harris her shorthand book. Buddy Kimball leaves to Bobby Gentry his ability to lay out of school without getting caught. Since Gerald Willis never has any luck hunting, Jerry Eaves leaves every bit of his luck in finding, ond killing rabbits, squirrels, etc. P. S. His rabbit box too.
