1952 CLASS WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the Senior Class of 1952, having discovered that we are soon to go out on our own, do hereby make this, our Last Will and Testament, public to anyone and everyone. To Nelda and Velda Posey, Reba Jeffers and Lorene Bishop leave their height-6’5” tall, and weight- 145 2 pounds to distribute as the twins wish. Edward Crawford leaves his entire fortune, one nickel, to Kenneth Griffith. Roger Daniel wills his ability to chew gum in Mrs. Hutcheson’s class, to Walter Price. Donald Rowell leaves Bobby Posey only part of his brains, as he will need a pound or two for his own use. Doyal Dennis is just leaving--thank Goodness. To Marlene Wilson and Earlene Brown, Dorothy Floyd leaves her timidity, use it girls. Pauline Brown wills all her excess fat to Jo Ann Daniel but where can Pauline find any? Garden Green leaves his big friendly smile to Richard Carter. Charles Head leaves Jack Head his red Convertible. Got to keep it in the family. To Vivian Mozley, Annice Hancock leaves her book-keeping ability. Wesley Cash wills Bobby Dowdy his tall, dark, and handsome looks, although he doesn’t need them. Shirley Browning leaves her long goldie locks to Jerry Weaver. To Roger Lassiter, Bobby Bowling leaves his speed on the football field and on the basketball court. Ray Jeffers wills to Hal Biggers his technique with the girls. Melvin Agan would be glad to will someone his big mouth, but he couldn't get along without it. And besides, who wants it? To Doris Tolbert, Hazel Hardin leaves her many sweaters. One gets cold, you know. Coy Cash and Harold Blackmon will to Phil Bowman, their love for B. H. S. Johnny Davenport leaves his job as office boy, to anyone, who can ring a bell and contend with the continous growl of the “Bear. Shirley Goldin leaves her mischievous ways to Bertha Cheatwood, hoping she uses them. Douglas Floyd wills his feet, toes, and all, to Jerry Eaves. To Billy Garner, Johnny Griffin leaves anything he can get by without. Alton Wilson leaves his little finger and “Ride of the Dare Devils” to Chalmus Kiser. Charles Dennis would leave his guitar to Joe Loyd Biggers, but he will need it to serenade his ever-loving girls. To the Junior Class we leave Mrs. Griffith and we know you will love her as we do. I, Joy Williams, leave my Senior Class Presidency to the poor miserable creature who has the misfortune to be elected next year. 16
