Our Student Council representatives are Bud Heiermann and Glenn Carlson. Our class reporter is Ann Tibbles who is doina a very fine job of puttinq our news in the Buckhorn, We sponsored a successful dance on Novern- ber 14, after the Three Rivers aame. We elected cheerleaders for the Basketball games. They were Marlene Thomas, head cheer- leader, Mary Ann Shoaren and lane Wilson. We are also proud to have Dodqe Karpinski on the Varsity football team and Dick Smith on the reserve basketball team. Some of the clubs in which the Freshmen are participatina are: Band, F.F.A., Glee Club, GAA., Orchestra, Buckhorn Staff, Fl-l.A., Library Club, and Camera Club. PeCJQY Cramer kept accounts of us in the Buckhorn, and Sally Schultz and Dale Dellinqer saw to it that we were well represented in the Student Council. lanis Sexton was Secretary of the Student Council. As Sophomores, we knew that we were a definite part of B.H.S. and therefore took on greater responsibilities. Members of our class took part in Band, Glee Club, Orchestra, Buckhorn Staff, F.F.A., Library Club, B Club, G.A.A., Debate Club, and PHA. Many of our boys were mem- bers of the football, basketball, baseball, and track teams, making it possible for Charlene Pears and Sharon Forthman, sophomore varsity cheer- leaders, to cheer them on to victory. One activity that we all took part in was the Sophomore Dance held after the Three Bivers football qame. We had a successful year and we owe many thanks to our advisers, Mrs. Weaver and Mr. Heezen, who aave us much needed help. Sharon Forthman
