The Social Club was organized this year through the cooperation of 1 he F. F. A. Boys and the Home Economics Girls with the respective teachers as advisers. In order to bring the students together as a social group of the school the club has sponsored six dances. These invitation dances have been for both square and round dancing. The debating team has made a very creditable showing in the debates that have been given during the school year with the affirmative team being victori- ous over William Byrd and Andrew Lewis High and the negative defeating William Byrd and losing by a few points to Andrew Lewis High.
