M ISS GLIDDEIXI, MISS ALBRIGI-IT lftll of Q My SIGMA LAMBDA THETA will Sixty 'Way back in the days when most of us were just beginning to toddle, the year V928 to be exact, Bryant's first sorority, Sigma Lambda Theta, came into being. The Greek letters stand for Sisterhood, Learning, and I-lonor, and the colors, red and white, represent courage and purity. The flower is the red rose. Early in October was pledge week with the pledge banciuet on November IS, I945. . The Sigma Lambda Carnival, held in the Bryant Gym at the beginning of March was one of the social successes of the year, and an informal get-together for new members was held in the gym soon after, together with Beta Sigma Chi, the newly- organized brother fraternity, A formal dance was held in May and it proved to be a very enjoyable affair, Q14

The fraternity has, even in its early stages, proved itselt a leader in college functions and is well on the way to becoming one ot the strongest fraternities on the campus.
