During the war, the soziority continued alone, but i946 shows promise ot the return ot the brother fraternity. The sorority colors are blue and white, and the sorority tlower is the white rose. The key-bar pins on navy blue and white blazers easily identity the sorors. Beta Sigma Gamma welcomed its i945 oledgees in October at a Rush Tea held in Stowell l-louse Next, a banquet was held at the Crown Hotel. On February 2, the Annual Sno' Ball was held with talented Vivian Thurston being elected Sno' Queen. During the spring and summer months, various socials were held by Beta Sigma Gamma.

HAYES After three years of inactivity during the war, Sigma Lambda Pi once more came back to the campus. The fraternity mourns for its brother, Stanley Alpert, who lost his life in the European theatre. Originally organized as a national fraternity, Sigma Lambda Pi was reorganized with a state charter ten years ago. Sigma Lambda Fi elects officers twice a year. ln former years Sigma Lambda Pi sponsored one of Bryant's most colorful dances, the Sno' Ball, and during the absence of the Sigma Lambda Pi members, its sister sorority, Beta Sigma Gamma, carried on this gala affair, Fifty-three L , Q ,el
