She really is a whizzl MlLLY VALENTA has been singing with a nation-wide orchestra located in New York, MARGIE VALJGI-IN, Bryant's great athlete, is now captain of the Girls' Basketball Team, EILEEN DUBIN is now secretary to the editor of the Providence Journal-she's still quite a snap in taking dictation and in transcribing. DORIS ELIASON wishes she could be back at Bryant-she claims she can now type at a rea- sonably fast rate Iwithout too many errorsl. Maybe she would be successful in getting in some of those speed tests. OLGA Sl-IEMET still doesn't see how she made her speed in shorthand and was graduated. She once thought it was the impossible. Lookl I-lere comes JANET STEARNS, fol- lowed by a string of little boys, each wearing a letter of the alphabet, Janet laughed, All my sons are named Roger A, Roger B, and so on. I'm worried, Roger G doesn't feel well today, BETTY MANDOR and LORRAINE BUSSIERE are still dashing for the Attleboro Express. MATI-IILDA ANDREWS and MARIE CLEGG are the latest additions to Bryant's office staff. MADELYN GUSETTl'S year at Bryant cer- tainly was not wasted. It gave her ample oppor- tunity to practice for her present role in Shake- speare's Romeo and Juliet, especially the balcony scene, SONIA NISSENBAIJM is a proofreader of English texts. She had her experience working for Mr. Handy. SI-IELIA CIJRRAN has toured to California many times already in her pea green charger. I-IELEN DZIADLJL is the new French teacher at Bryant thist year. Teaching English Grammar to the kids in Connecticut are ROSE DONNE and JEAN STANLEY. AVIS SWARTZ is keeping the books for the Forest Drug Company, BARBARA EBERLE is a stenographer for a certain C. P. A. in Providence. DOROTI-IEA GORDON has published her weekly themes written for Mrs Handy, I-low are the royalties? GLORIA JOI-INSON occasionally visits her Alma Mater to give lectures for John Robert Powers. A few years ago CARMELLA GIZZARELLI and ESTI-IER TURCO gave up running an elec- tric typewriter to run an electric egg beater. Tl-IERESA PARRILLO and LOIS PLATT are efficient receptionists in private offices in their hometowns. PAULINE I-IOLMAN is an assistant in a cer- tain dentist's office. LUCY KEVORKIAN and MARIAN SHAMMAS are secretaries of the Congressmen from their home states. Because she practiced after her Bryant in- terlude, KATHERINE LUDLOW does 250 w.p.m. in shorthand. ANNE TURNER is editor of the Women's Page in her hometown newspaper. MARY MATRU LLO and MARY TSONOS have been efficient legal secretaries for the past ten years.

During the war, the soziority continued alone, but i946 shows promise ot the return ot the brother fraternity. The sorority colors are blue and white, and the sorority tlower is the white rose. The key-bar pins on navy blue and white blazers easily identity the sorors. Beta Sigma Gamma welcomed its i945 oledgees in October at a Rush Tea held in Stowell l-louse Next, a banquet was held at the Crown Hotel. On February 2, the Annual Sno' Ball was held with talented Vivian Thurston being elected Sno' Queen. During the spring and summer months, various socials were held by Beta Sigma Gamma.
