Text from Pages 1 - 22 of the 1951 volume:

AUTOGRAPHS AUTOGRAPHS f TO THE 9TH GRADE. 1951 Life is a sort of game we play In fair and cloudy weather. With things to do and things to say All mingled in together. But the thing you happen to say or do Isn't half so much to your credit As the kind of WAY you put it through Or the MANNER in which you said it. It isn't a question of how much wealth. Or of getting your name in the papers. But did you have to get it by stealth Or by cutting up funny capers? The race will many times go to the swift And the battle oft to the strong. But the things that count are the helpful lift And the cheery word and the song. Don't worry your head about others at all. Or whether THEY'RE going to make it, But just keep your eye on your own little ball And make doubly sure YOU can take it.' A. GARRISON. Principal Left to right: Gail Mertz, Carole Tess, Rozanne Wilson, Katherine Swanson, Barbara Angrimson, Kenneth Bronson, Ronald Pieri, Richard Magnuson, Harold Hendricksen.
